Very pleasant experience. got the steak and shrimp fajita came out still sizzling from cooking.the pico de gallo that came with was very light and refreshing. 10/10 recommend
How can you not love this place when they put up signs like this? I’ve been a huge fan of both Montezumas in Chambersburg for years. I’ve had tons of items from their menus at both locations and am rarely disappointed with the flavor or value of the food. Service is always amazing here. I think you’ll enjoy the enchiladas, taco salads, and anything with tacos. I’ve always loved their fried ice cream as well. As an important note: This location on Wayne Avenue serves alcohol and margaritas. The location off route 30 does not. Just FYI if you require cerveza or something stronger.
My childhood was spent in Texas, where the culture is very diverse and great Mexican style restaurants are plentiful. A visit to Montezuma's immersed you in that kind of culture while providing great Mexican style food like Enchiladas, Tacos, refried beans and Spanish rice. Highly recommend it. There are two authentic Mexican restaurants in Chambersburg: one on Lincoln Way East and the other on Wayne avenue. Both are equally good.
Yummy, comida delicioso; el camarero muy bueno The service was excellent and very friendly... kept the chips and salsa filled .. Salsa was fantastic with just enough spice... Ordered the quesadillas, taquittos and enchiladas... All meals were temperature hot even til last bite... Atmosphere is fine, enjoy listening the music..
Delicious authentic Mexican food. Beautifully decorated and wonderful staff. We had the pleasure of having Alex as our waiter and he did a fantastic job. He's definitely an asset to the restaurant.
Visited yesterday whilst visiting family, we went on a Monday with 4 adults and three kids, was seated quickly and all staff were incredible and super friendly and attentive. The restaurant aesthetic is so authentic and original and there was a super incredible atmosphere all around. Everything we ordered tasted so, so good and fresh and hot and I wish I could come back every week! Margaritas for only 2.99 on a Monday would be my favourite day if I lived here! Thank you to everyone for such an amazing evening
We always find the food authenticity prepared. The service is always superb. Drinks along with the customary chips and salsa are always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend. Stopped in again tonight. Everything was good as always. If you’re not a big fan of authentic Mexican food,, try the shrimp salad. Yummy Shrimp with a separate salad along with chips and salsa. Can’t go wrong with this one. I will say the Margaritas are getting very weak. U sure would appreciate a little alcohol in a 10 drink. Once again, great food and service! But seriously, y’all need to update the menu. How about some chicken wings or something different for the people who don’t eat traditional Mexican food?
Stop at Montezuma Mexican Restaurant for a late lunch, this was our first visit. The staff was extremely friendly and very out going. Our orders were hot and delicious. I got the chicken taco salad and believe me I could not eat it all. There must have been a pound and a half of chicken in it! My husband was also very pleased with his meal. We never had to ask for anything. The restaurant and restroom were very clean.
